Adam's birthday is at the end of June. So is our anniversary, and MOST of our summer church activities and outreaches. It seems like every year Adam's birthday gets lost in the shuffle of events. This year I decided to break the trend and do something special for him. I invited his brothers to come for a surprise visit!
I had to pick up the guys from the Megabus station in Harrisburg, so I told Adam we were going on a "date" that night. We drove for about an hour (and by then it was around 10 p.m!). Adam kept trying to figure out where in the world we were going at such a late hour. He was going through all the places he could think of and trying to figure out when they closed. I was having a blast listening to him :) LOL!
We got to Harrisburg and pulled up to an Applebee's restaurant (that's where the guys were waiting to be picked up). You should have seen the confused look on Adam's face after driving an HOUR just to arrive at Applebees! :) We got out of the car, and then he saw the guys...
He was SUPER surprised and so excited to see them! We got him good! :)
We really enjoyed the time spent with David and Philip! Here we are at Sweet Frog Frozen Yogurt one night :)
