Friday Fun!

Anna, Emily and I went shopping today to take advantage of the Black Friday sales (no, we did NOT get up at the crack of dawn!).

The Christmas displays in the mall were so beautiful...and unique!

We stopped to let Emily play on the playplace. We're not quite sure what she's doing in this picture... :)

Emily and Aunt Katie!

Thanksgiving in Michigan

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!!! We went to Michigan this year and had a blast. We spent the first part of the day at the Other Burtts' house...

Kitchen craziness!

Lloyd and Bethany with a very unhappy Carter! By the way, Bethany is expecting again! Number 5 is on the way in May!

Lloyd and Bethany have a CUTE little baby named Alyssa. Adam enjoyed holding her for a while...

Naomi and I with some of the kiddos :)

This is Joanna Estep, one of my pals :) At one point during the day, she looked up at me and said randomly, "I like your face!" She's a cutie!

Adam and some of the guys spent most the day playing "Settlers of Catan"

For Thanksgiving dinner, we went over to Uncle Ron and Aunt Diana's house. Here's Adam with his cousins, Nick and Ryan.

Anna and I!

With Grandma Gardner

The table looked so beautiful!

With my niece, Emily

Watching the football game....

After we finished at the Gardners, we headed back to the other Burtts, where we played some games...

....and Adam got a haircut!

We had a great Thanksgiving! We are so thankful for each one of you. :)

A Grace Bible Church Thanksgiving :)

Today at church we had a Thanksgiving meal after the morning service, and then a short afternoon service to wrap up the day. We had a wonderful time fellowshipping with our church family! Here are some pics from our time together...

This is the Bates family. They are new to our church, but are becoming members soon. Jenny, the blonde-haired lady on left, is British and has the CUTEST accent! Her husband, David (right), enjoys leading choirs. Needless to say, his talents are not going to waste! He's going to be leading our choir for Christmas. :)

Mark Kohler is enjoying his food!

Rodney and Paula Putnam, who will also be joining our church soon.

Yours truly :)

More church family...

The man on the left is Ken Duncan. He is our treasurer and one of our deacons.

Jon Beck, our head deacon

Adam leading the afternoon service...

A lot of people had to leave after the meal, so the crowd was a little smaller for the afternoon service.

After the service ended, we had a Christmas program practice. Since one of the characters couldn't be there, Adam stepped in and read his part. He just HAD to wear the wig as well!

Too funny! :)

Piano Studio

I started teaching piano at Liberty's Piano Studio in October. I have 6 students, including an adult lady and a teenager. I teach every Thursday from 3:00-6:15 p.m. Thought y'all might like to see some pics of the studio!

It even has a little waiting room for parents who have to wait while their kids are in lessons!

Bye, Phil!

My brother, Phil, left for home this past Thursday. We'll miss ya, Phil!

Rescue Mission

Last night our church was in charge of a service at the York Rescue Mission. I played the piano and Adam preached a clear gospel message. We had about 60 men and women in attendance!. Praise the Lord!

After the service, we serve the people a free hot meal. Many of those that come are homeless.

Here's a few of our church people and myself serving the meal. Sorry the pic is a little blurry!
While I was serving, one man came to me and said "You've got a pretty cool husband, ma'am. You made a great choice." I must agree! Love ya, Adam! :)

Adam enjoyed talking with the teens that came.

This guy has an interesting background. He actually went to PCC and was a youth pastor at one time! Adam got to talk with him for a while.
Please pray for the Rescue Mission ministry! We go every other month and hold a service. The next one will be in January.

All I Want For Christmas...

He's on my wish list this year. :)

Fun With Phil

We've enjoyed having my brother, Phil Hollandsworth, visit with us from Wisconsin for a couple weeks.

Here's Adam showing Phil how to play our favorite game, "Settlers of Catan."

Since Phil was able to be with us for several church services while he's here, we decided to put him to work in Kid's Club on Wednesday night. He did a great job leading the kids in "Simon Says!"

Guess he wore them out!

On Sunday night we headed to Cory and Becky's again, where Phil was able to join in the volleyball fun...

Ok...so it's a little blurry, but I love this picture of Adam hitting the ball :)

The volleyball players!

Thanks for coming, Phil! We enjoyed having you here. :)
