Hollandsworth Family Photos

Here are some family pics we got during Christmastime.  Thought I would share them with you all :)

What a crazy bunch!

New Year's Eve

Our church had a movie and game night to ring in the New Year!

Happy New Year!

Mayberry Revisited

I love the fact that Mayberry, NC is right on the way home for us as we leave my parents' house!  We're big fans of Andy Griffith, so we love stopping here for lunch.

Lunch at the Blue Bird Diner...

We brought my sister, Rachel, home with us for a few days.  She got to enjoy Mayberry with us!

Rachel and Barney :)

One of the shops had this bluegrass band playing.  Kinda reminiscent of the Darlins on Andy Griffith!

A Hollandsworth Family Christmas

We got to spend Christmas with my family this year!

Here we are at the breakfast table before opening gifts...

Opening gifts!  Beth always adds character to any celebration.  She's the only one who wore a Santa hat while opening gifts :)

My mom always does an awesome job decorating for Christmas!

The Christmas feast...

Goofing off with the napkins after dinner :)

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Cinnamon Rolls

Every year I make cinnamon rolls for our entire church family as their Christmas gift from us.  Here's the finished product!

My Birthday

I had a lovely birthday this year!  My husband surprised me with a beautiful Christmas bouquet: roses, pine, spruce, and baby's breath.  It smelled awesome!

Then, he took me to Inner Harbor, Baltimore for the day.  We had a blast walking around the shops!

The weather was gorgeous...

We ate at P.F. Chang's for dinner.  It was our first time eating there, and we loved it!

Yummy lettuce wraps!

After dinner we walked around and enjoyed the pretty lights.  It was quite romantic :)

The 12 Days of Christmas

I received a very special blessing this year from our dear church ladies.  They organized "The 12 Days of Christmas" for me!  Each day, one lady from the church brought over a special gift.  On day one, I got one gift.  On day two, I got two gifts, etc.  It was so special!  I was especially touched that all the ladies got involved and gave cheerfully.

Thought you might like to see a few of the things I got...

Day 6: Six bottles of Starbucks' frappuchino!

Day 9: A basketful of misc baking and decorative items

Day 12: Twelve yummy cookies!

Day 11: A basketful of Christmas-themed kitchen goodies

Thanks to all the ladies of Grace Bible Church!  You made this Christmas a very special one for me :)
