Thanksgiving Dinner

We had Thanksgiving dinner with Adam's Uncle Ron and Aunt Diana and their sons.  Aunt Diana did a beautiful job, as usual :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Since we won't be in Michigan for Christmas, we decided to give our gifts to the nieces and nephews on Thanksgiving.  Think they look a little excited?

...and we got the boys "Thomas the Tank Engine" dvds.  Those kept the kids occupied for a while :)

Thanksgiving Breakfast

We all gathered at Big Boy on Thanksgiving morning for breakfast!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Afterwards, Anna and I stopped for frappes at McDonalds.  We needed our coffee for the day :)

Our brother-in-law, Sam Sanderlin, invited us all to go flying with him in his plane!  We had a blast!

Michigan Misc.

There's always so much to do when we're in Michigan!  Here are some misc. pics :)

I picked up some playdough for the kids, so Chloe, Elias and I spent some time creating sculptures together :)

 

Chris and Rachel Knobil were in town visiting their family, so I took the opportunity to visit them on Wednesday afternoon.  Their new little one, "Ned," is SO adorable! 

 

I even managed to do a little couponing with my sister-in-law at CVS :)  I think I got her hooked ;)

 

On our last day in Michigan, we rented a gym and had a family volleyball game.  So much fun!

 

...after the game we gathered at the church and had pizza.

 

We skyped with Mary and Suzy as well.  We missed you girls!  Wish you could've been with us :)

Burtts at Church!

We all went to Ann Arbor Baptist Church for the Thanksgiving Praise Service on Wednesday night.  We used the opportunity to snap a few pics, of course :)

Lloyd Estep preached a great message!  Since all the "ministry men" in the Burtt family were gathered together in one spot, Pastor Hirth had all of them give an update on their ministry.  It's so neat...we have lots of different ministries in our big family!  Sam and Abby as missionaries in Cameroon, Stephen and Tina at Camp Joy (but soon to be in Kenya as missionaries!, CJ Elwood in the National Guard chaplaincy, Lloyd Estep at Marquette Manor Baptist Church as youth pastor, Peter and Tabitha Magnuson in a Bus Ministry at their church in Minesota, and Adam and I at Grace Bible Church in PA.  Wow!  So neat to hear from each one!
