Goodbye, Debbie!

We had a going-away party on Sunday for a dear lady in our church who is moving to Florida (Debbie Schoelkopf).  We will miss her greatly!  She's been such a blessing to our church!

Debbie :)

We presented her with a book of memories and a card shower.

Some pics from the party...

This is my little pal, Russel :)  He kept waving me over so that I could take his picture, too.  What a little cutie :)

Goodbye, Debbie!  We will miss you!

Wedding at our Church

This past Saturday we held a wedding at our church!  Adam got to tag-team officiate with Kevin Callahan, and I did the music, the programs, and some of the decorations.  Whew!  It was a busy week!  We're so thankful that the wedding went smoothly.

A lady in our church did all the flower arranging.  Beautiful, huh?

The bride and groom did Unity Sand instead of Unity Candles

The Bride and Groom!

The bride's bouquet.  There's some significance to the peacock feathers - I believe the bride's grandmother raised peacocks, and the groom's grandfather has some story with them as well.  Both of those grandparents have passed away, so the feathers in the bouquet and boutonnieres were in remembrance of them.

With the groom's parents (members of our church)

With the officiating pastors and their wives! :)

Reception decorations...

We got to sit with the Callahans at the reception :)  That was fun!

2013 Winter Olympics Dinner

Last Saturday night we had the 2013 Winter Olympics come to our church! :)

Two of our church ladies organized the whole evening for us.  I didn't have to lift a finger :)  We had a wonderful soup/salad dinner.  These yummy cupcakes were for dessert!

The ladies did a great job decorating!

Static-Free Hair!!!

Hey there, everyone!

I just recently tried a shampoo/conditioner treatment from Garnier Fructis called "Hydra Recharge," which is made specifically for dry hair.  I'm involved in a company called "BzzAgent," (www.bzzagent.com) so I was able to sample the product free of charge.
I don't usually blog about stuff like this, but I was SO thrilled and happy with this Garnier treatment that I wanted to share it with all of you!

I don't know about you, but my hair has been dry and FULL of static this winter.  However, after I used the Garnier products, I had ZERO static, even after I blow-dried and curled my hair!  I'm loving this stuff!  It's now my official winter shampoo/conditioner :)

My static-free hair!!!

Piano Room Makeover

This past month our piano room got a makeover!  I'm really excited about the way it turned out.  We used a sage-green paint called "Northwest Passage," and I got some pretty material to make curtains.

I even made some pillows to match :)

Still a bit "in progress," but it's coming together!

What do you think?
