Our Wedding Day

We were married on Friday, June 25th at 6 p.m. at Falls Baptist Church. The Lord gave us an absolutely beautiful day for the wedding. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness in bringing us together!

My view before I entered the auditorium on Dad's arm. Can you see the handsome groom? :)

During the ceremony...

First kiss (but certainly NOT the last! :))

No chapped lips allowed on this wedding day! :)

Headed to the reception...

"Mr. and Mrs. Adam Burtt!"

Special thanks to Harriet Walusayi for all the photos!

Ministry Opportunity

The Lord has graciously opened an opportunity for us this summer at Grace Bible Church in New Freedom, Pennsylvania. Adam will be the interim pastor for 3 months, after which the church will decide if they want to keep him on as their pastor. We are so excited about this opportunity! Please pray for us...

Inside the auditorium...
See Adam at the pulpit? :)

Adam's future office...

The Lord also provided this little 2-bedroom apartment for us. We can't wait to set up our new little house after our honeymoon!

Together...

We're enjoying every moment together during these last days before our wedding. No stressing out allowed!

My Prisoner

I'm holding him hostage till the wedding... :) But as you can tell by his huge smile, he doesn't mind a bit. :)

Falls Shower

On May 30th, Falls Baptist held a shower for me after the evening service. It was so nice!

My mom and I

Some of the girls made this "towel cake" for me...pretty neat, huh? :)

It was so cute to see all these little girls on the front row at the shower. :)

Like the cake?

Opening gifts...

The Hollandsworth gals :)

Angelica (one of my flower girls) helped me with the gifts.

Adam showed up at the end to help me get the gifts home. We had some fun playing around with the towel cake. Doesn't he look cute? ;)

Ann Arbor Bridal Shower

Adam's home church, Ann Arbor Baptist, had a bridal shower for me while we were in Michigan. Tabitha fixed my hair and Anna did my makeup. I felt like a princess and had a blast! :)

Adam and I testing out our new camera from Uncle Ron and Aunt Diana...

Grandma Burtt, Suzy, and Aunt Jean

Mrs. Frye, Mrs. McKenzie, and Mrs. Thompson (ladies from the church)

Grandma Gardner bribed Emily into walking down the aisle as a flower girl by giving her this apron. I think it just might work... :)

Tizzy leading us in a game called "How Well Do You Know Adam and Katie?"

Emily was helping me with the game...

I guess Tabitha "knew us best." She won the game--Way to go, Tab!

Meanwhile, the men of the church held a little party for Adam. They had lots of food and fellowship...

Uncle John and Dad Burtt

Little did I know, but Adam was standing outside the door waiting to surprise me with roses and a card! He's SO sweet. I love you, Adam!

Opening gifts...

Out of all the gifts I got, THIS ONE is my favorite. I think I just might marry him someday... :)
