Burtt Christmas

During our visit to Wisconsin, we also got to stop by Adam's sister and brother-in-law's house (Stephen and Tina). It was great to see them again, along with their cute kiddos! Mom Burtt, Philip, Tizzy, Anna and Emily were all there, too.

Here we are just sitting down to breakfast...

Tina made us a lovely breakfast!

Our nieces, Emily and Brooklyn. They're SO cute!

Levi decided that he was going to check out Adam's wallet :)

With our State-side nieces and nephew (we missed you Sam, Abby, and kids!)

The girls!

The three of us each have a birthday in either December or January. Tizzy and I share a birthday on December 22nd, and Philip's is on January 8th.

Mary gave me a Symphony bar for my birthday! Thanks, Mary!

Adam, the camera man :)

Opening Christmas gifts...

Philip made me a cutting board!

Crazy Stephen!

Four on a couch!

Getting ready to leave...

It was great to see you all again, Burtt clan! We'll miss you!

Culvers and Bucks Game

On Monday night our family got to see a Milwaukee Bucks game!

Before the game, we decided to stop at Culvers...

I got a free sundae for my birthday!

At the game...

Announcing the players (this was rather interesting!)

The stadium is HUGE! As you can see, we got the nosebleed seats :) They actually had a better view!

My siblings

My parents

This little blimp-thingee flew around the stadium dropping tickets. Unfortunately, we were not the lucky recipients of any :(

Okay, this is a classic pic of EXACTLY how us girls felt towards the end of the game....BORED. We're definitely not sports people! I even brought a book with me and got a little reading in :)

The Bucks lost :(
After the game, we had to walk 5 blocks in 7-degree weather to get to our van. Brrrrrrrrrrr! However, we had a great time together!

Christmas Day

Merry Christmas, everyone! We spent the day with my family in Wisconsin. It was great to be together again!

Adam with his crazy sister-in-law, Beth :)

My sisters, Sarah, Rachel and Anna

My brothers, Josh and Phil, and my Dad

My mom...opening gifts...

My sisters got Adam a "Bop It" - thanks a LOT girls! That thing is going to drive me nuts!

Many thanks to all who gave money towards 2 commentary sets for Adam. He can't wait to use them! I ordered Wiersbe's Bible Exposition Commentary Set and the Zondervan Pictorial Encyclopedia of the Bible.

Beth asked for an exercise ball (you gotta know Beth! :))

Dad gets excited whenever he gets books for Christmas :)

What a mess!

Christmas dinner...

It was great to spend Christmas with you all! We love you!

Christmas Eve Party

Every year my family hosts a Christmas Eve party after the Vespers service at church. This year we had Thomas and Sarah Overmiller and their kids, the Krawiecs, the Ackerets, and Mrs. Corbin. It was a wonderful time of food and fellowship.

The house looked SO pretty with all the Christmas lights and candles!

Adam started up a game of chess with one of the Ackeret boys.

Kitchen craziness!

Sorry that the lights are so blurry!

Most of the kids (and some adults) camped out in the family room and played games.

The more "mature" adults stayed in the dining room to talk :)

....and...well...Adam and I played Settlers of Catan with some of the young adults. This game in particular lasted until midnight!
